Hungerford drink-driver Anthony Saxon consumed more than twice limit

A MOTORIST was caught behind the wheel after drinking more than twice the legal limit.
Anthony Saxon appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, August 6.
The 62-year-old, of Coldharbour Road in Hungerford, admitted driving a Ford Focus near his home on Saturday, July 13, after drinking more than the legal limit.
Tests showed 88mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system. The legal limit is 35mcg.
Saxon was fined £120, ordered to pay £85 costs plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £48 and banned from driving for 22 months.
