Reading Magistrates' Court: Newbury drink-driver was uninsured




A MAN has been banned from the roads after drink-driving while he had no insurance.

In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, November 22, was was Damian Pyzio.

The 30-year-old, of of Sidestrand Road, Newbury, admitted driving an Audi car on the A339 in Newbury on Sunday, October 30, after drinking more than the legal limit.

He further admitted driving while uninsured on the same occasion.

Mr Pyzio was fined £120.

No order for costs was made because of his lack of means to pay but he was ordered to pay a statutory victim services surcharge of £48.

Finally, Mr Pyzio was banned from driving for 18 months.
