Burghfield Common drink-driver Hannah Buckingham was almost three times limit




A WOMAN has been banned from the roads for two years for drink-driving.

Hannah Buckingham appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Monday, September 30.

At a previous hearing the 28-year-old, of Wheeler Close, Burghfield Common, admitted driving a Ford Fiesta on Station Road, Theale, on Friday, June 28, after drinking more than the legal limit.

Tests showed 99mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system – almost three times the legal limit of 35mcg.

Magistrates adjourned for pre-sentence reports to be prepared.

Buckingham, who was legally represented by Robert Jacques, was fined £200.

In addition, she was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £114.

Finally, Buckingham was banned from driving for two years.
