Reading Magistrates' Court: Tadley drink-driver in Aldermaston was already banned

POLICE who caught a drink-driver found he was already banned from the roads.
In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, November 1, was Ashley Pearce.
The 33-year-old, of Monkswood Crescent, Tadley, admitted driving an Audi TT on Reading Road, Aldermaston, on Saturday, October 1, after drinking more than the legal limit.
Tests showed 57mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system.
The legal limit is 35mcg.
In addition, Mr Pearce admitted driving without insurance and driving while disqualified on the same occasion.
Magistrates ordered pre-sentence reports to be prepared on an 'all options' basis, including custody.
Mr Pearce was meanwhile released on unconditional bail.
