Reading Magistrates' Court: Thatcham drink-driver was uninsured

A THATCHAM motorist has been caught drink-driving while uninsured.
In the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 15, was Sean Randell.
The 36-year-old, of Blackdown Way, admitted driving a Mercedes Benz on Crookham Hill, Thatcham, on Tuesday, June 22, after drinking more than the legal limit.
Tests showed 54mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system.
The legal limit is 35mcg.
He also admitted driving without insurance and without a valid licence on the same occasion.
Mr Randell was fined £120 and ordered to pay costs of £85, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £34.
He was banned from driving for 46 months.
