Driver airlifted from Woolhampton crash





Firefighters used cutting equipment to release the man.
The road is currently closed from the nearby pub The Angel and fire appliances from Newbury, Mortimer and Reading are in attendance.
Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman Nicole Targett said: "We responded to a call from the ambulance service at 1.02pm of reports that an articulated lorry carrying a mobile home had crashed into the Rising Sun."
The driver was freed using heavy cutting equipment and flown to hospital by the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance.
Pub staff and customers were said to be unhurt but shaken.
UPDATE 2.55PM
Thames Valley Police have confirmed the lorry driver was airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
