Thatcham driver Michael Gibson had taken cocaine

A MOTORIST was caught behind the wheel after taking cocaine.
Michael Gibson appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, May 28.
The 43-year-old, of orchard Court, off Turners Drive, Thatcham, admitted driving a Peugot 107 on St Saviour’s Road, Reading, on December 18 last year when the amount of the Class A-controlled drug in his system exceeded the specified limit.
Mr Gibson, who was legally represented by Paul Gilmartin, was fined £120.
In addition, he was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £48.
Finally, Mr Gibson was banned from driving for 12 months.
