The 54-year-old, of Battalion Way, Thatcham, admitted driving a Citroën Nemo on the A4 Bath Road in Reading on Friday, April 28, when the amount of the Class B-controlled drug in his system exceeded the prescribed limit.

Mr Wallace further admitted driving without insurance and driving without a valid licence, on the same occasion.

Magistrates fined him £80.

In addition, Mr Wallace was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £32.

Finally, his licence was endorsed and he was banned from driving for 12 months.
