A motorist was caught driving while disqualified – after taking cocaine.
To make matters worse, Jonathan Pearson had no insurance, either.
The 33-year-old of Peers Place, Thatcham, appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, August 13.
Pearson, who was legally represented by Adonis Daniel, admitted driving a Volkswagen Golf on the Broadway in Thatcham on Monday, March 11, when the amount of the Class A-controlled drug in his system exceeded the prescribed limit.
He also admitted driving without insurance and driving while disqualified on the same occasion.
Magistrates ordered pre-sentence reports.
Pearson was meanwhile released on unconditional bail and made subject to an interim driving ban.
