Duchess of Cambridge in Lambourn yesterday afternoon (Saturday)
Catherine Middleton attended the wedding of jockey, Sam Waley-Cohen, whose bride comes from Upper Lambourn
MEMBERS of the public gathered in Lambourn yesterday (Saturday) afternoon to see the Duchess of Cambridge who was attending a wedding in the village.
Catherine Middleton, from Chapel Row, was back in West Berkshire just hours after seeing the Duke of Cambridge take part in Trooping the Colour to celebrate the Queen's birthday.
She was attending the wedding of jockey Sam Waley-Cohen at St Michael and All Angels Church, Lambourn.
The Duchess arrived driving herself and her sister Pippa.
Other guests included Princess Beatrice and Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy.
The wedding took place in Lambourn as Mr Waley-Cohen's bride, party planner, Bella Balin, comes from Upper Lambourn.
Carol Morgan was one resident who went along to capture the day and sent her best wishes to the happy couple.
This comes just two months after the jockey attended the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at Westminster.
Mr Waley-Cohen was the first amateur jockey in 30-years to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup earlier in the year where he rode a horse trained by Lambourn's Nicky Henderson.
