Duchess of Cambridge spotted shopping in Hungerford
Bucklebury's most famous former resident was seen antique shopping with her family on Sunday
The Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine Middleton returned to her roots on Sunday for a spot of shopping in Hungerford.
Visitors and workers in the town were left stunned when the Duchess arrived with her family for some lunchtime shopping.
She popped into shops including Hungerford Arcade and Hungerford Emporium.
LeeAnn Day who runs Phoenix Vintage in Hungerford Emporium spotted the Duchess at Hungerford Arcade.
Mrs Day had the day off from work but was in arcade about to have lunch.
She believed that the Duchess was at the arcade with her brother and that she had been in earlier in the week to reserve an item with her mother, Carole Middleton from Bucklebury.
She said: “I don't know what she was buying but everyone was buzzing about it.
“She was extremely stunning; she was really tiny and gorgeous even though she was just wearing jeans.
“Everybody was just staring at her – I even had to pry my husband away.”
