Eastfield Angels gear up for London Moonwalk
These six ladies, plus three more, connected to Eastfield House Surgery in Newbury are taking part in this year’s London Moonwalk in aid of breast cancer, and want you to help them out.
The practice manager at the surgery (and likely head angel), Laura Hutchinson, said: “We have been training hard for weeks through sun, rain and hail and we have the blisters to prove it. If you spot us on one of our walks around Newbury and Thatcham, give us a wave. Your support will cheer us on.”
The walk is a 26-mile marathon power walk which begins at midnight in Hyde Park, London, on Saturday, May 12.
