Elderly man airlifted to hospital following serious A4 collision

At around 1.30pm a black Vauxhall Agila and a silver Peugeot 308 collided just passed the Berkshire Fiesta centre.
The driver of the Vauxhall, a 68-year-old man has been airlifted hospital with serious injuries.
Thames Valley Police is appealing to witnesses of the incident.
PC Gareth Miles, who is investigating the accident, said: “The A4 has been closed west bound while we examine the scene but one lane is due to be reopened shortly.
“It was a busy time of day and as there were plenty of motorists in the area at the time, I am appealing to anyone who saw these vehicles being driven before the collision happened, to get in touch.”
Anyone with information about the collision is urged to contact the police on 101. If you don’t want to speak to police and don’t want to leave your name contact the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
