Elderly Tilehurst man dies in car crash
Tilehurst man dies from injuries after car he was driving collided with a wall yesterday (Thursday)
AN 80-year old man from Tilehurst died after his car hit a wall in Caversham yesterday (Thursday).
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to the fatal collision which happened in Prospect Street, at the junction with Peppard Road and Henley Road, at around 11.55am.
The car was a silver Peugeot 406 which collided with the wall and came to rest against a post.
The driver was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading where he later died.
His next of kin have been informed.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
