Electrical company moving into Newbury town centre

The chain, which specialises in electronic products and components, has submitted a planning application to install its shop signs at 28 to 29 Northbrook Street, Newbury – the unit of the former Two Seasons shop.
Newbury Town Council has raised no objections to the plans, but said that illuminated signs were likely to have an impact on the Conservation Area and requested, in its comments, that illuminated signs be limited to business hours only.
The Newbury Society raised no objections to the application.
A final decision is expected by West Berkshire Council on February 11.
