Eleven swans a swimming at Theale business park
Resident swans at Arlington Business Park recently hatched nine new cygnets
ELEVEN swans are now a swimming at a Theale Business Park after the resident swans recently hatched nine new cygnets.
Swans have made their home at Arlington Business Park for 11 years and their offspring have become an annual event that is enjoyed by all park occupiers.
This year, a pair of ducks also hatched seven little ducklings, and property services director of UK Business Parks for Goodman property group, Richard Potter, said: “We are delighted that the swans continue to flourish at Arlington, a place that has been their home for many years now.”
Mr Potter added that it was important to work closely with customers to ensure the building and the environment at a business park works for both parties.
The business park has over six different species of fish living amongst the plant life in the three acre lake, while it is also frequently visited by a range of waterfowl, including the swans, herons and cormorants.
