Emergency services sent out to person in water at Greenham Mill

A spokeswoman for the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS), Nicole Targett, confirmed that they had been alerted to the incident at 2pm and had sent a fire appliance and water rescue team to the Mill Lane site.
The Thames Valley Police helicopter is also flying low above Newbury, and two policemen were seen canoeing down the Kennet and Avon Canal at the same time, after commandeering a canoe from the Dolphin Activity centre which was teaching on the canal at the time, but it has not been confirmed if they are attending the same incident.
