English Defence League demo: five due in court

The incident happened in The Broadway on the night of Friday, February 28
Rory Rowbotton, aged 22, of Hartmead Road, Thatcham, Julie Anne Worthington, aged 35, of Donnington Gardens, Reading, Edward Scovell, aged 43, of Donnington Gardens, Reading, Robert Brammer, aged 50, of Hayward Close, Totton, Southampton and Gary Hazel, aged 38, of Forsyth Garden, Bournemouth.
Mr Rowbottom, Mr Scovell, Mr Brammer and Mr Hazel are each charged with one count of racially or religiously aggravated harassment and one count of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour
Ms Worthington faces two counts of racially or religiously aggravated harassment and two counts of using threatening, abusive, insulting words or behaviour.
They have all been bailed to appear at West Berkshire Magistrates Court in Newbury on Thursday, May 1.
