EU Referendum Q&A being held in Thatcham today (Friday)
Local 'IN' politicians to present their case
THATCHAM residents can hear the case for remaining in the EU today (Friday).
With only three weeks until the crucial vote on whether Britain should remain in or leave the European Union, local ‘IN’ politicians will present their case.
The MP for Newbury, Richard Benyon, will team up with his Labour opponent Jonny Roberts, who stood against him in last year’s general election, for a Q&A session.
The debate will be held at the Burdwood Community Centre, at 6.30pm.
Mr Benyon said: “This is a momentous decision for us all, of every party political persuasion and none.
“It will affect the future of this country, and the future of our children and grandchildren.
“There is so much at stake and I am pleased that so many people are keen to engage in the debate and find out more.”
