Electric vehicle charging posts proposed for Burghfield motorway service area

Additional electric vehicle charging ports have been proposed for the motorway service area in Burghfield.

Moto Hospitality Ltd has applied to West Berkshire Council to install 10 more EV charging spaces and posts, creating 16 in total.

The installation would also include a Tesla Megapack and two Superchargers.

The council is due to announce its decision on the application by Sunday, March 17.
