Evening sound sculpture

A monumental installation of kinetic sound sculptures created by Ray Lee comes to the Market Place tonight (Friday) and tomorrow. Chorus is a collective of monumental and transfixing sound sculptures, towering high above the audience, giant metal tripods with rotating arms sing out hypnotic siren calls creating a pulsating harmonic drone. Red lights will whirl like a swarm of fireflies, or planets in motion, like mesmerising orbits of colour.
Chorus performances begin at 8.30pm, 9.15pm and 10pm. They are approximately 20 mins long. There is no charge.
