Ex-Thatcham vicar Peter Jarvis cleared on seven of 12 charges of sex offences with children

The jury at reading Crown Court announced their unanimous verdicts around 4.15pm after just four hours and 15 minutes' deliberation.
However they were unable to unanimously agree verdicts on the remaining five charges facing the Rev Peter Jarvis and the judge at Reading Crown Court sent them home last night (Wednesday), instructing them to continue their deliberations.
Mr Jarvis showed no emotion as the verdicts were read.
Last Friday, Mr Jarvis took to the witness stand to publicly rebut the accusations.
