Excitement is growing in Bucklebury

Residents and visitors flock towards the nearest big screen to watch the royal wedding guests arrive at Westminster Abbey

EXCITEMENT is building in Chapel Row this morning, the family home of Kate Middleton - soon to be HRH The Duchess of Cambridge - as hundreds of people gather in the field opposite The Bladebone Inn.

People from all over the world have come to take in the atmosphere in the Bucklebury village where Miss Middleton grew up, and local residents are also soaking up the attention on the biggest day in the village's history.

"We are excited Bucklebury residents. This will be a wonderful day and we are looking forward to going to a number of parties," said James and Helen Peters.

A large television screen and tent have been set up and as at 10.15am hundreds of people were gathered in there to watch the proceedings in London.
