EXCLUSIVE: "I did everything I could" - eyewitness report to fatal A34 accident on Monday

Christina Rendell had been driving home from work at 5am and witnessed as the articulated lorry overturned directly in front of her, blocking both lanes of the carriageway between Wash Common and Speen.
Speaking exclusively to NewburyToday’s sister publication, the Newbury Weekly News, she said: “Nothing could have prepared me.
“It seemed to go in slow motion.
“I pulled over...then I went into control mode.
"I did everything I could."
The driver was a 65-year-old man from Winchester.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch.
Anyone with information on the collision can contact Insp Paul Winks via the 24-hour non-emergency number 101 quoting URN 92 24/3.
