The chairman of the group, Nadeem Soomro, said: “This event provides an accessible platform for local and Berkshire wide groups to promote their work.
It also offers an invaluable opportunity for our partners and supporters to engage with a variety of local communities and groups.”
The event is free and includes a variety of cultural performances, such as a Chinese Lion Dance, percussion drumming with the Drum Runners, street dance, South Indian dance, traditional folk music with Gael Music, martial arts and Jamaican folk songs.
Visitors can also try out a Thai foot massage, Indian head massage, or decorate their skin with henna body art.
There are lots of hands-on activities and people can even record their own music and sound. In addition to performances and workshops, there will be gift stalls to browse and food tasting.
CultureFest is sponsored and supported by Greenham Common Trust, Sovereign Housing, West Berkshire Council and NHS Berkshire West.
