Extra officers in Thatcham town was training exercise, say police

Police spokesman, Adam Fisher, said that 18 officers had been in the Broadway and around the entrance to Waitrose in The Moors completing "practical exercises."
Waitrose manager, Steve Mason, said that the regular police exercises happened about once a month.
