Eyes down for a full house … with sweets




A tuck shop is one of the benefits of a village’s bingo night.

Bishop’s Green Village Hall is the venue for the event, held on the first Saturday of the month, with the next planned for October 5.

Organised by the community association for the village, it costs £1 to enter, while cards for eight games cost £14.

Bingo dabbers are available to buy at the cash only event, and there is also a raffle to add to the fun.

Teas and coffees as well as sweets can be purchased, and people are invited to bring their own alcoholic drinks should they wish to do so.

Suitable for over 18s only, doors open at 6.30pm, with eyes down from 7.30pm. The venue if cash only.
