Family-friendly festival returns near Basingstoke in aid of Hampshire Medical Fund
Families are invited to enjoy a day of outdoor adventure at this summer’s Good Festival near Basingstoke.
The event, raising funds to buy vital equipment for the Hampshire Medical Fund, will be held at Dummer Down Farm from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, June 15.
Activities will include bushcraft, alpaca walks, axe throwing, flower head-dress making, an interactive rainforest show, assault course, family yoga sessions, basket weaving, a crowd-favourite dog show – and a Father’s Day scavenger hunt.
Adults can unwind with a wide selection of artisan and food and drink stalls and an eclectic programme of live music ranging from soul and samba to 70s to 90s covers and Big Band classics.
Party experts Sharky & George will keep little ones busy all day with games and surprises around every corner.
Charity director of the Hampshire Medical Fund Lucy Liddell, which organises Good Festival, said: “There is not much more rewarding than a great family day out, but finding something that’s affordable and appeals to everyone can be a challenge.
“Good Festival is about old-fashioned family fun against a backdrop of live music.
“We wanted to create an event that ticked the boxes for every member of a family and have brought together in one place a huge selection of activities for all the family to enjoy.”
Early bird family tickets (two adults and two children) are on sale for £35 until May 31.
Individual tickets also available.
