Family fun at Newbury Racecourse
The racecourse is holding a Family Fun Race Day on Sunday with fundraising activities for children's charity tofs
FAMILY fun is the order of the day at Newbury Racecourse on Sunday (July 31).
Children's book character Noddy will be the special guest at the racecourse's Family Fun Race Day to support the children's charity tofs, which offers support to families of children who are born unable to swallow, while the author of Noddy and the Farmyard Muddle, Sophie Smallwood (Enid Blyton's granddaughter), will also be signing copies of the book.
Paddington Bear is also set to make an appearance at the race day, while Newbury's mascot, Harry the Horse, will also be on hand to give out his free Harry Hot Shot kids pack.
There is also plenty of children's entertainment planned off the track, including pony rides, face painting, an inflatable assault course, storytelling and a pottery workshop.
