Family plea for missing former Newbury man to return home
Steven Fox (pictured), aged 49, went missing from his Wisbech home in the early hours of Friday morning.
Speaking to the Wisbech Standard on Sunday, his daughter Charlotte Fox, said that he left home without money, a car or a phone.
She said: “He is said to be wearing dark denim jeans and a blue National Geographic fleece and some brown shoes.
“He is just over 6ft and has dark thin hair with a double crown. He has a few grey hairs but is more noticeable in his eyebrows.
“He is 49 and is suffering depression and post traumatic stress. He has autistic tendencies. Police have been searching all day, helicopters and special teams.”
His brother, Richard Fox, who lives in Thatcham urged anyone who had seen him to contact the police and added: “Stephen is a very well loved and respected man - by his friends, family and colleagues.”
Mr Fox and his family lived in Newbury before moving to Wisbech 11-years-ago.
Anyone with information should call police on the non-emergency number on 101.
