Family Raceday the highlight of bumper weekend of Sport

FAMILIES are being invited to see out the year in style as The Racecourse Newbury hosts its Festive family fun Raceday today.
Racegoers can enjoy a festive atmosphere with lots to see and do combined with racing, including the Grade 1 Betfred Goals Galore Challow Novice’s Hurdle and six other contests.
Off-the-track there will be more competition with the Festive Family Treasure Hunt and live music from the house band, Global Cafe Music.
Those heading to the event are being reminded that a bus service will run directly to the course from Reading station.

In the football, Hungerford will be looking to bounce back from their Boxing Day defeat to Burnham when they host high-flying St Albans City at Bulpit Lane.
Thatcham Town will also be in action as they entertain Clevedon Town at Waterside Park.
