Family Wildlife Day at Thatcham Nature Discovery Centre today (Thurs)

Visitors will be able to discover the different types of bugs that are starting to come to life at the Muddy Lane centre.
Community wildlife officer with the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust, Rhiannon Harrington, said: "This is a great day out for families to hunt for mini-beasts, play giant wildlife games, identify pond creatures, try bird watching with binoculars, meet some rescued hedgehogs and go on a sensory walk.
"If you’re feeling really adventurous, you could even give bushcraft a go.”
The family wildlife day is a drop-in event open to all ages; however, some activities require advanced booking.
