Fatal accident in Brimpton




Motorcyclist taken to hospital but succumbs to injuries

POLICE have appealed for witnesses following a fatal road accident in Brimpton last night (Sunday).

The incident happened at 8.13pm when a black Honda CB motorcycle, travelling along Brimpton Road in the direction of Bath Road, collided with a black Nissan Qashqai travelling in the opposite direction, near the entrance to Manor Farm.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 26-year-old man from Wokingham, was taken to the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, where he subsequently died from his injuries.
