Family pay tribute to barrister, aged 51, who died in a crash on the A4 in West Berkshire
The father of a man who died in a crash on the A4 in West Berkshire has paid tribute to a "very, very popular" son and father.
Stuart James Frame died when the car he was driving was involved in a crash on Sunday, January 8 near Ufton Green.
Mr Frame, 51, who has a son, Harrison and daughter Olivia, lived in Beenham with his partner Lisa.
His father, Alex Frame, a chartered surveyor from Upper Bucklebury, said he had adored his family and was very close to them all.
"There are no words, we are all heartbroken," he added. "He was a very, very popular man.
"He was very active and would go on walks around the country.
"He was an Arsenal fan and a very outgoing person, with lots of friends.
"In his work as a barrister he was very caring and helped everyone. He would give free advice out on a daily basis."
Mr Frame attended Bradfield College, before going on to read law at Kingston University. He completed a Masters in law at Brunel University and then went on to work at Staple Inn Chambers, in London.
A specialist in his field of party wall matters, building and construction and planning law, he was soon head hunted for Tanfield Chambers, in Chancery Lane.
Alex Frame said that he was now receiving two or three emails every day from people who knew his son, which was a great comfort to the family.
"We have been inundated with cards," he added. "One judge said he was one of the best barristers who had appeared in front of him, which makes you very proud."
Mr Frame, who enjoyed outdoor activities such as skydiving and skiing, would have celebrated his birthday on January 22 and his close family went out for a meal together on the day to remember him.
He leaves behind his partner Lisa, son Harrison, 19, daughter Olivia, 15, father Alex, mother Ivy and brother David.
Around 150 people are expected at his funeral, which takes place tomorrow (Wednesday). His hearse will be drawn by four black horses.
Anyone is welcome to attend the service at 3pm at West Berkshire Crematorium Chapel, in Thatcham, followed by refreshments at Theale Golf Club.
His family has asked that anyone wishing to make a donation in Mr Frame's memory do so to Myeloma UK.
