Thatcham Festival welcomed more than 4,000 visitors this year
Thatcham’s annual arts and culture festival has celebrated another successful year.
This year’s festival, which ran from October 11 to 20, welcomed more than 4,000 visitors.
Organised by Thatcham Town Council, the 10-day festival featured more than 30 events aimed at people of all ages and interests.
Its diverse programme showcased everything from nature walks, history talks, photography exhibitions, live music, dance performances, choir ensembles, astronomy nights to children's activities.
Mayor of Thatcham Suzanne Adamantos said: “We are absolutely thrilled with the incredible turnout and the positive feedback from the community.
“My deputy and I had the pleasure of attending all the events between us, each of which we thoroughly enjoyed.
“We were also honoured to have the High Sheriff of Berkshire join us for our grand finale, the spectacular Cold Ash Brass Concert.
“We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers, performers, exhibitors and local businesses whose contributions made this year’s festival so memorable."
The council is already looking ahead to next year’s festival, and aims to create an even more diverse and engaging program.
