Newbury's Falkland Primary School lit up the winter nights with a festive Christmas trail
It was beginning to look a lot like Christmas at a Newbury school, as the classrooms were lit up for a festive trail.
Pupils and staff at Falkland Primary School decorated their classroom windows with beautiful displays, which were then lit up from the inside, to create a magical Winter Light Trail.
Father Christmas, angels, the nativity scene and Christmas trees all adorned the windows and the trail around the school site also included hidden messages, riddles and letters for those taking part to find.
The event also saw a number of market stalls set up in the grounds of the Wash Common school on December 11.
A spokesperson for the organisers said: “It was a very popular event. We sold a record number of hotdogs and cups of mulled wine.
“We had a huge number of parent helpers, and so it really did have a wonderful community feel.
“A fantastic festive end to a busy term.”
