Fetes and fun continue today





Cow pat bingo, hay bale throwing, ferrets and archery will be among the main attractions at the Hannington Country Fair and Barbecue, running from noon to 5:30pm.

But if you don't feel that cow pat bingo is for you, why not head along to the Lambourn church fete for a tombola and a raffle while the phoenix brass band plays on.
The event will be held in the church grounds between 2:30pm and 5pm.
A flower festival will also be held at St Mary's Church, Thatcham.
The displays, which will focus on weddings through the years and visitors will be able to go along until Monday afternoon.
As well as flowers, there will be wedding dresses and photographs, piano and organ music, and the bellringers will be performing at various times.
The Rev Marion Fontaine will be on hand to talk about the displays and the various groups that were involved in creating them.
As part of the festival, couples can go along to the Sunday service at 10am to renew their wedding vows.
