Fire crews cut pair from car during M4 crash





Crews, including firefighters from Dee Road, were called to the accident on the M4 between junctions 12 and 13 at about 8.30pm.
A Mini had left the carriageway and crashed into a tree.
Firefighters removed the roof and the two casualties were taken to the John Radcliff Hospital in in in Oxford, however, they are not believed to be seriously injured.
Dee Road crew manager, Rob Read, said they had significant difficulty finding the incident.
He reminded people who were calling 999 to stay on the hard shoulder to direct the emergency services and use the road markers on the roadside to give crews the most information as to where the incident is.
He added: “If we didn’t find the incident we could have been dealing with two fatalities.
