Fire crews respond to Thatcham gas leak

Crews from Whitley Wood and a hazardous materials officer were called to the scene at Colthrop Lane at 2:16pm to a leaking propane tank.
A spokeswoman for the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service, Nicole Targett, said that the tank had been isolated and that crews were making it safe.

A spokeswoman for the RBFRS, Nicole Targett, said that fire crews had dealt with a leak coming from a forklift truck and had used water to keep the tank cool.
