Fire in Lower Basildon

Two crews, one from Dee Road Fire Station in Tilehurst and one from Newbury Fire Station attended the scene on Hill Field Farm in Park Wall Lane, Lower Basildon after being alerted at 2.10pm.
Three storage sheds were involved, containing a total of 70 cubic metres of wood chipping.
The Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) said the crews used a hydrant, two hose reels and jets to extinguish the fire.
The stop message came at 14.10 and the crews then stayed until 3.45pm to dampen down the smoke.
RBFRS spokeswoman Nicole Targett said the cause of the fire was unknown but is not thought to be suspicious.
