Firefighters battling blaze at Newbury's Goldwell Park

Woodland alight near Northcroft Leisure Centre

FIREFIGHTERS have been called to tackle a blaze at Goldwell Park in Newbury.

Two fire engines have been sent after reports that woodland is on fire opposite Northcroft Leisure Centre.

Crews at Newbury Fire Station were called at 4.45pm this afternoon, but as the incident is ongoing were unable to confirm any more details.
