Firefighters called to child locked in car in Newbury

Crew manager Alex Dallimore, of White Watch at Newbury Fire Station said one pump was called at 10.30am, to Cresswell Road to the incident involving a two-year-old girl.
The Automobile Association (AA) arrived shortly afterwards and firefighters handed the incident over to them.
“She was in the car, the parents put the keys on the seat, shut the door and it locked,” said Mr Dallimore.
Firefighters left the scene after 20 minutes.
