Firefighters called to downed Highclere telephone cable

Crew manager of Green Watch at Newbury Fire Station, Neil Poulding, said one pump was called at 3.56pm to Church Lane, after a telephone cable came down in high winds.
Firefighters made the cable safe, before handing the incident over to telephone company officials.
Firefighters left the scene at 4.30pm.
