Firefighters called to suspected arson in Calcot park

Crew manager Simon Abbott of Green Watch at Dee Road fire station, Tilehurst, said one pump was called at 10.30am to Linear Park, where two mounds of cut grass were on fire.
Firefighters used back packs containing water to extinguish the blazes, before leaving the scene after about one and a half hours.
The Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) recorded the incident as a suspected arson.
