Firefighters containing open blaze in Sulham Woods

Firefighters are currently fighting a blaze in Sulham Woods.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service received reports of the fire at 5.59am today (Monday).
Fire crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road, Newbury, Whitley Wood and Theale were sent to the scene alongside two off-road vehicles and a six-wheel drive fire appliance.
Three officers were also sent to the scene.
A spokesperson said: "Upon arrival, crews found a wildfire in a wooded area.
"Firefighters surrounded the fire and remain on the scene as they continue to contain the blaze."
