Firefighters tackle A34 collision between East Ilsley and Chieveley

According to Lee Glover, the watch manager of Blue Watch at Newbury Fire Station, one pump from Newbury, a second from Wantage and third from Didcot were called at 7.57am to the collision, southbound on the A34 involving three cars. No-one was trapped.
Firefighters made the electronics of the vehicles safe and disabled the car batteries and left the scene after about 40 minutes.
Police and ambulance services were also at the scene and the road remained open throughout.
