Firefighters tackle Brightwalton haystack blaze

Richard Young the watch manager of Green Watch at Newbury Fire Station said one pump was called at 3pm to Common Lane, where a four tonne haystack was on fire.
A water carrier from Ramsbury, Wiltshire, was also called to the scene.
Fire crews remained at the scene until 8.30pm.
The controlled burning fire had been initially reported by passing motorists, due to smoke drifting across a nearby carriageway.
