Firefighters tackle car engine blaze on M4 Newbury

Green Watch crew at Newbury Fire Station confirmed one pump was called at 11.30pm to the M4 westbound, near to junction 13 (Chieveley), to an engine fire in a Ford Mondeo.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels to extinguish the blaze.
The incident was closed at 1am by the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS).
