Machete and crossbow among objects found in Hampshire Constabulary drugs bust that led to five arrests
Five arrests have been made today in Tadley and Yateley in relation to an ongoing drugs investigation.
Officers from Hampshire Constabulary made the arrests when warrants were executed at three different addresses this morning (Friday, April 8).
A machete and a crossbow were among the objects found during the searches officers carried out in properties on West Green and Fox Drive, Yateley, and in a property on Stratfield Avenue, Tadley.
Class A and B drugs, cash, and other weapons were also found during the searches.
A 28-year-old woman, from Tadley, has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug and being concerned in the supply of a class B drug.
A 20-year-old man, from Yateley, has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug, being concerned in the supply of a class B drug, and possession of a class B drug.
A 28-year-old man, from Yateley, has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug and being concerned in the supply of a class B drug.
A 58-year-old man, from Yateley, has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class B drug.
A 58-year-old woman, from Yateley, has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class B drug.
All those who have been arrested remain in police custody while enquires continue.
Hampshire Constabulary thanked local residents for their patience this morning as their officers completed the searches and arrests.
