The Science Museum is Live on Tour at The Anvil, Basingstoke, tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday, with new experiments, as well as dynamic staging, interactive sets, digital projections and pyrotechnics. Inspired by the Science Museum’s hugely popular interactive galleries, this inventive show leads children and adults on an exploratory adventure into the wonderful world of science with the use of dangerous demonstrations and extraordinary experiments. The action is interspersed with web cam footage from inside the museum as well as exclusive footage of some of the nation’s scientific treasures stored at Wroughton in Wiltshire and Blythe House in Kensington. The fast, furious and frenetically fun show is entertaining with plenty of audience participation and a perfect introduction to theatre and science for schoolchildren and their families. The show is suitable for anyone aged 7 and over and there are a variety of ticket prices depending on the performance date.
